Can I use mycorrhizal fungi when I plant my new crab-apple tree?

Our crab apple tree Aros arrived this morning. Appears to be in perfect condition. Looking forward to seeing if there is any blossom. Would it be OK to use mycorrhizal fungi?

Good afternoon Isabel Thanks for confirming receipt of the tree. Yes you can use mycorrhizal fungi in the planting hole, but equally don't worry if you don't have any available as it is not essential. Hope the planting goes well!
