Small orchard project in Cambridgeshire

Hi I'm working on a project where the client wants a small orchard with a mixed height canopy. I am interested to know if you can propagate Cambridgeshire (or nearby) heritage varieties as 'own root stock' trees or on another large rootstock. They want some big trees. Up to 25 trees - South facing site.

Answer:
The Cambridge area is a good location for growing fruit trees. We have several Cambridgeshire varieties e.g. Cambridge Gage and Lindsey Gage If you are looking for mixed heights then perhaps some standards and the rest on semi-vigorous rootstocks?
