Ascendens Rosea is one of the best forms of Prunus pendula. Although others of this species often have a weeping form, Ascendens Rosea has a graceful upright form - reminscent of a silver birch.

The blossom is borne in great profusion and is a lovely rose-white colour.

The tree will reach about 4m after 10 years or so.
