Chinese Lace rowan

Sorbus
  • Fruit colour: Red

Chinese Lace is an attractive small rowan with a neat upright form. It features plain white flowers in early summer, which quickly turn into long-lasting coral-red berries.

The leaves are a clean mid-green colour through the summer, but turn coppery-red in late autumn.

Chinese Lace is also notable for the deeply cut pinnate shape of its leaves - each leaflet appears almost independent. This creates a distinctly lace-like feathered appearance when viewed from a distance.
