Trees for Northern Ireland after Brexit
Question:
I want to get some fruit trees from you but our garden is being landscaped and won't be ready until the spring, can you still send trees to us then?
Asked by: Don from Co. Down, 12-Aug-2020
Answer:
Unfortunately no. Defra have told us we will no longer be allowed to send trees to Northern Ireland after the end of the transition period on 31/12/20.
It would be best to have the trees sent before then, and perhaps you can heel them in somewhere else in your garden until it is ready for planting.
