What fruit varieties are suitable for Northern Ireland?
I'm interested in growing some eating apples and other fruits, i've a Bramley tree (good fruiting) and a pear (poor fruiting size and ripening) living in Northern Ireland. Are there some eating apple/pear/nut trees that i should / could grow sucessfully in a large garden with a southerly aspect?

Thanks for your interesting enquiry. I am not surprised to hear that your Bramley is doing well and the pear less well - that is what I would expect in your climate.
